The trend based on human information processing adds managerial decision-making to the design of the control systems, valuating the organisation’s psychosocial aspects-The research works in this line share the introduction of the principles of behavioural and cognitive psychology for analysing the factors that affect the quality of individual decisions. The factors that influence the quality of decisions have been classified into three: those linked to inputs, which measure the information properties (type of measurement, degree of trust, method and order of presentation), those linked to the process that uses the individual employees when making decisions (personality, intelligence, decision rules.
