A prototype LaBr3 detector system with an integrated electronics unit was developed to perform accurate gamma ray spectroscopy in harsh environments. A simple spectral shift methodology was employed in a LaBr3 detector system, which is capable of restoring gamma spectra measured under various temperature conditions within the range of − 20 to +50 ◦C, in real-time. |
