They will manipulate and use passive-aggressive behavior to elicit a desired response because they are fearful of a direct head-on collision. This is the person who doesn t get mad but gets even. For example in the movie Prince of Tides the mother in a very passive-aggressive manner cooks dog food as a meal to punish and get even with her husband for his raging temper. Those with anxiety are unresolved as to what they want who they are and what they need both from themselves and from others. The moodiness is the result of the constant confusion and frustration that is due to the inability to make a decision and stick with it. Anxious individuals hate their fear and hate being wimpy. Generalized anxiety is present all of the time waxing and waning depending on what is going on with the individual.
