Alkalinity values for both seasons increased down stream and were relatively higher in the dry season - mg l than during the wet season - l . Spatial differences between stations were positively significant for wet R2 and dry season R2 . Similarly water hardness increased down stream for both seasons and concentrations were higher in the wet season - l than during the dry season - l .
