The literature in book form is a veritable cornucopia of analytical information covering both basic and applied aspects of invertebrate pathology. Atlases and manuals are available that enable the identification of a wide range of insect pathogens. Some of these have also included a limited number of techniques to be used predominantly for preparing entomopathogens for isolation and identification.
