You will fi nd here current information on tasks exercised by the Social Insur- ance Institution (ZUS), current amounts of contributions and benefi ts provided for in the Polish social security system. Starting from 1 January 2009 payment of old-age benefi ts from the new old-age pension scheme, introduced in 1999, has started.
