The guiding training model for clinical psychology is called "scientist-practitioner" which demands that any . clinical psychologist must be trained both as a scientist and practitioner. Since receiving my ., I have anchored myself in university departments of psychology where I have taught mostly graduate level psychology courses; conducted a long-range program of empirical research in personality, psychopathology, and psychotherapy; supervised the diagnostic and clinical work of clinical psychology graduate student trainees; and conducted my own part-time practice of psychotherapy.
