Both the education and health sectors have a common goal to provide opportunities for students to be more empowered about health and related issues as they go through school. This need for partnerships and a collaborative approach involving the education and health sectors in school health promotion is universal, and there are indications that it is now being addressed in many parts of the world. This is exemplified in “Case Studies in Global School Health Promotion” in which a wide range of quality case studies from Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, Asia and the Western Pacific are.
