Push the bar down to raise the load Presentation Practice 1 Use the diagrams below and words in the presentation to complete the instructions: Practice 2 Read the instructions for checking a spark plug; then put them in the correct order. Remove the plug from the socket. Place the spanner over the spark plug. Replace the spark plug in the socket. Insert the gauge in the gap. Remove the cover. Examine the gap and check that it is clean. Rotate the plug anticlockwise until it is loose. Check that the gap is between and mm wide. Replace the cover. Rotate the plug clockwise until it is hand-tight. Place the spanner over the plug and give a quarter turn clockwise. Caution: do not over-tighten the plug. Practice 3 Read the instructions for changing a tyre; then put them in the correct order. Practice 4 Read the instructions for the dynamo belt on the left; then complete the instructions for the alternator belt on the right: Slacken mounting bolts A and B. Slacken the slide bolt C. Either: a. pull the dynamo up to tighten the belt. or : b. push the dynamo down to slacken the belt. 4. Tighten the slide bolt. 5. Tighten the mounting bolts.
