After years of growing demand for "green" construction projects — projects seeking one form of environmental performance certification or another — most firms do not expect demand for these kinds of projects to grow in 2013. Sixty percent of firms expect demand for green projects to stagnate in 2013 while another 5 percent expect to see fewer green projects this year. This follows a year when 57 percent of firms reported that green construction represented anywhere between 0 and 5 percent of their total workload. .
