Given the enormous, ever-growing, and constantly-changing size, shape, and consistency of the internet and the use that is made of it means that methodological issues abound when attempting to produce measurements of traffic and content. Yet even given the limitations of the data available, Envisional believes that the estimates produced in this report are more accurate than any that have been published before. This report draws together the data in a way that allows, for the first time, the organisations which can help shape the ways in which users interact and obtain content to understand how much of the internet.
