The Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and Silk Road Studies Program constitute a single, joint Transatlantic Research and Policy Center. The Center is independent and externally funded and has offices in Washington, ., and Uppsala, Sweden. The Center is affiliated with the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and the Department of East European Studies, Uppsala University.
