Expand existing hiv prevention interventions. WHO will develop an evidence-based HIV prevention package for the health sector and support its implementation at the national level. The design of the prevention package will reflect the findings of a review of behavioural interventions and advice on how they can best be combined with other interventions in a range of health settings. WHO will provide guidance on delivering combined prevention activites in generalized epidemics, including optimal approaches for key populations, such as women, girls and young people. It will also advocate the application of existing guidance in concentrated epidemics and update normative guidance.
