In this section, we aim to use a comparative analysis between the Arab Region and the rest of the world to assess the current state of the media industry and identify key opportunities for growth. We will assess the similarities between the media industry in the Arab Region and the global landscape, such as changing consumption trends, the evolution of new platforms and new monetisation models. We will also analyze the unique characteristics of the Arab Region, including its demographic composition, rapidly transforming economic climate and distinctive culture and history, all of which have a direct impact on the media.
