Each of the PowerShell scripts located at E:\Mod02 in the virtual machine LON-DC1 which is required for the demos. Preparation Tasks for Demonstration: All demonstration scripts will be run from the virtual machine LON-DC1. Launch the PowerShell ISE and load each .ps1 file for this module into a separate tab. Use the PowerShell ISE to run associated PowerShell cmdlets as required for each demonstration, explaining to students the reason for its creation as well as the expected output. Within the PowerShell ISE, highlight a line to be executed, then right-click the highlighted line and choose Run Selection. This will run the highlighted PowerShell command, displaying the results in the panes below. More details and step-by-step instructions for each demonstration are found as comments within each demonstration’s associated .ps1 file. No additional instructions for demonstrations are provided within the instructor notes. Students will have access to demonstration scripts with all notes and built-in content in their Companion CD. You may consider having students launch the PowerShell ISE and pre-load each demo’s .ps1 file prior to beginning the module. This enables them to follow along with your demonstration using their own computer.
