. | A feeding experiment was conducted to test the hypothesis that feed intake, digestibility of sheep given different levels of cassava baggase silage would be increased when increasing the amount of cassava baggase silage and the characteristics of rumen fluid would not be significantly affected. Fistula sheep were fed with rice straw ad libitum, and 1 of 4 supplements, namely: T1 (0BSU) 0% of cassava baggage silage (DM based), T2, 20% of cassava baggage silage (20BSU), T3, 40% of cassava baggage silage (40BSU) and T4, 60% of cassava baggage silage (60BSU) added with 2% of urea in the concentrate supplement before feeding animals. The total dry matter intake was not different between the treatments but there were significant differences in organic matter intake. There were significant differences between treatments in apparent digestibility of dry matter, organic matter or crude protein (P<). The pH of rumen fluid tended to be reduced when increasing the amount of cassava baggase in the ration and significantly reduced after 4 hours of the second feeding. The content of N-NH
