Group I Streptomyces sp. AK409 and group II Streptomyces sp. AK029 selected duplicated strains were clustered in their own groups. It was observed that the results of gas chromatography and pyrolysis mass spectrometry was in good congruance with the numerical taxonomic results. Therefore, it can be concluded that the different chemotaxonomic methods provide rapid and reproducible information for classifying biotechnologically significant Streptomyces strains. Pirolizis Kütle Spektrometri ve Gaz Kromatografisi ile AlkalitolerantMezofilik Streptomyces’lerin De¤erlendirilmesi Özet: Saddler taraf›ndan nümerik taksonomisi yap›lan alkalitolerant-mezofilik otuz sekiz Streptomyces suflu gaz kromatografi ve pirolizis kütle spektrometri metotlar› ile de¤erlendirildi. Grup I’ den Streptomyces sp. AK409 ve grup II’den Streptomyces sp. AK029 nolu seçilen duplikat sufllar ilgili gruplar› ile kümelendiler. Gaz kromatografisi ve pirolizis kütle spektrometri sonuçlar›n›n nümerik taksonomik sonuçlarla tam bir uyum içerisinde oldu¤u gözlendi. Farkl› kemotaksonomik metotlar›n biyoteknolojik önemi olan Streptomyces sufllar›n›n s›n›fland›r›lmas›nda h›zl› ve üretken bilgiler sa¤lad›¤› sonucuna var›lmaktad›r.
