It is found that the EBG design approach in the ground plane is a good candidate for frequency rejection of wide range. The antenna achieves an operational bandwidth of Ghz ( Ghz to 3 Ghz) which included ISM band ( and Ghz), WiFi / Bluetooth ( Ghz), Satellite Radio ( Ghz), and GPS ( Ghz).
