Phytoplankton (except Bacillariophyceae) flora of lake Gölköy (Bolu)

The phytoplankton composition of Lake Gölköy was studied by monthly sample collection from 3 littoral and 2 pelagic stations during a 2-year period (June 2003-June 2005). Spirogyra and Scenedesmus were the most abundant genera, with 13 and 10 species, respectively. Some species found in the lake were new records for the Bolu region (., Gonium pectorale Müller, Polytoma cylindraceum Pasher 1927, Provasoliella ovata (Jacobsen) Loeblich, and Anabaena crassa (Lemmermann) Komárková-Legnerová & Cronberg). Tan›mlanan toplam 152 taksondan % 61,8’i Chlorophyta, % 12,5’i Euglenophyta, % 10,5’i Cyanoprokaryota, % 5,3’i Pyrrophyta, % 4,6’i Chrysophyta, % 3,9’i Cryptophyta, % 0,7’i Xanthophyta ve % 0,7’i Prasinophyta filumlar›na aittir. Spirogyra ve Scenedesmus s›ras›yla 13 ve 10 tür ile en fazla tür zenginli¤i olan cinslerdir.
