The research in the field of cementitious materials has brought towards many non-traditional binder systems. One of these systems, a ternary binder composed of calcium aluminate cement (CAC), ordinary Portland cement (OPC), and calcium sulfate (C$Hx), called ettringite binder, offers a possibility of very rapid development in mechanical strength.
