The remainder of the paper is organized as follows: Part 2 provides a survey of the current literature concerning funding sources and capital market access to MFIs, including the Microcredit Collateralized Debt Obligation (MiCDO) market, and the relative strengths of the main forms of capital market funding for MFIs.
