Although laparoscopy-assisted gastrectomy for gastric cancer has been applied in the world since 1991, it was not until 2007 that this technique was used widely at large medical centers in Vietnam. However, there have been no studies to evaluate the long-term survival of method so far. Subjects and methods: To study 165 gastric cancer patients undergoing laparoscopy-assisted gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection at 103 Military Hospital from April 2009 to August 2013. Surgical procedures according to instructions of Ministry of Health. Lymph node dissection and postoperative stage according to 3rd JGCA were diagnosed.
