To survey the clinical features of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder when they were first examined at Danang Psychiatric Hospital and find out a number of factors related to child hyperactivity disorder. Subjects and methods: Cross-sectional study on 132 children from 6 - 10 years old, who were diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder when they were first examined at Danang Psychiatric Hospital. Results: The rate of children with attention deficit disorder was , hyperactivity disorder was , increased attention deficit hyperactivity disorder was , the incidence of male infants was not different from that of female infants. 6 years old had the highest disease and 10 years old was the lowest.
