Cefquinome is fourth generation cephalosporin developed exclusively for veterinary use. The present research was aimed to investigate the disposition kinetic profile of cefquinome at the dose level of 2 body weight following single intramuscular administration. Cefquinome concentrations in plasma were determined by microbiological assay technique using Kocuria rhizophila MTCC 1541 as the test organism. The plasma concentration– time profile following intramuscular administration was best described by onecompartment open model. The peak plasma concentration (Cmax) of ± was achieved at ± h (tmax). | Disposition kinetics of Cefquinome in calves after a single intramuscular Bolus dose
