The solar battery charging station for charging of various farm equipment viz., tractor, power tiller, grass cutter, etc. using 12 V and 24 V DC systems was developed and evaluated. The charging station is suitable for coupling with hp SPV pumping system suitable for lifting the shallow depth water in remote area. The performance of SPV system for water lifting coupled with charging station was evaluated.
