Study was planned to evaluate effect of high plan of nutrition on feed intake, growth, feed efficiency and cost of feeding in crossbred heifers (50% Holstein Friesian and 50% Kankrej inheritance). Twenty four crossbred heifers divided in two equal groups having similar body weight and age for twelve period of fifteen days. Heifers were fed concentrate, hybrid napier (Coimbture-3) and sorghum hay to meet nutrient requirement in control and 5-10% higher nutrients in treatment group. Average daily intake of dry matter (DM), total digestible nutrients (TDN), crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), crude fibre (CF), and nitrogen free extract (NFE) was higher () improved. | Growth and feed conversion efficiency as influenced by high plan of nutrition in crossbred heifers
