In this article, Ag2O/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) nanocomposite has been prepared by chemical reduction method and used as a cathode material for zinc-silver batteries. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) tests reveal the CNTs and Ag2O nanotubes form an interpenetrating network structure. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis confirmed that the Ag2O shows Cubic (Pn-3) crystal structure and mixture element states in the nanocomposite. | Synthesis of Ag2O/CNTs nanocomposite to be used as a cathode material for zinc - silver batteries
