Agriculture and climate change are inextricable. Crop yield, biodiversity, water use, and soil health are directly affected by the impact of climate change. Tropical countries are likely to be more affected compared to temperate countries. The brunt of environmental changes in India is very high due to higher dependence on agriculture. Such a study would contribute towards a better understanding of the intensity and impacts of the climate change.
