Present investigation was carried out to study the variability parameters of quantitative as well as qualitative traits and their contribution towards seed yield which may be used as selection criteria for yield improvement in wheat under rainfed condition. Thirty six genotypes of wheat were studied for two consecutive years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 following Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two replications in this experiment at Kalyani District of West Bengal.
