Chickpea (Cicer arietinum.) is grown extensively in India as an important legume crops. A quality seed is required to increase the production of chickpea qualitatively and quantitatively. Hence it is imperative that seeds must be tested for seed-borne mycoflora (seed-health), before they are sown in the field. In the context, a study was conducted to work out the diversity of seed-borne mycoflora in relation to different chickpea varieties.
