Microgreens are emerging speciality food products which are gaining popularity and increased attention nowadays. Microgreens are tiny and tender counterpart of mature green leafy vegetables, contained higher amounts of minerals and vitamins (Platel and Srinivasan, 2017). Depending upon the variety of seed sown, microgreens are harvested between period of 7 to 21 days after sowing. Microgreens are tiny in size but they have dense source of nutrients.
