Cropping pattern refers to the proportion of area under different crops at any given point of time in a unit area, or the yearly sequence or spatial arrangement of crops on a given area. An attempt was made to compare the cropping pattern followed by the members and nonmembers of Water Users’ Associations in Upper Krishna Project command area. The Upper Krishna Project (UKP) is one of the major projects in Karnataka and is the most prestigious multipurpose (irrigation and power) project.
