Tomato is the second most important vegetable grown in India. It faces heavy attack by pest and diseases in tropical countries. Biotic and abiotic stress is major challenge for higher production of tomatoes. Thrips complex are important sucking pests which also cause more damage as vector species for virus diseases. So controlling the vector by screening against thrips damage/preference is the major concern for screening and developing lines resistant to thrips. | Screening of elite genotypes of tomato against major Tospo vector - thrips complex
