The present study was carried out at N E Borlaug Crop Research Center, G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar, Uttarakhand to estimate the genetic parameters such as genotypic coefficient of variance (GCV), phenotypic coefficient of variance (PCV), heritability (h2 ) and genetic advance as percent of mean (GAM) for 12 quantitative traits of soybean (Glycine max L). Experimental material of the investigation comprised of 120 genotypes along with 5 checks. During analysis of variance, days to 50% flowering, number of nodes per plant, number of pod clusters per plant, and 100 seed weight showed highly significant difference among check varieties.
