Mungbean (Vigna radiata) is an economically important pulse crop and is an excellent source of easily digestible proteins with low flatulence which complements the staple rice diet in Asia and particularly in India. Information about mungbean germplasm diversity and genetic relationships among accessions or cultivars is of fundamental importance for breeding and the management of germplasm. To study genetic diversity at molecular level different types of DNA markers can be used. | Screening and identification of SSR markers for genetic diversity for mungbean [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek]
