Preliminary studies on conventional estuarine set bag net (CESBN) were carried out during 2016-17 to know the current catch composition. The set bag net is locally fabricated fixed net, normally operated in estuarine region during winter season. The fishing trials were carried out in day time with soaking period of six hours excluding time of setting and hauling. Total of twenty cruises were made for the entire period of study.
