The purpose of this document is to provide guidance on preventing the risk of pesticides by reducing exposure with effective personal protection, with particular attention to personal protective equipment (PPE). First, it provides technical information on personal protection and on the selection and use of PPE. Secondly, in line with the Code of Conduct, it addresses various policy issues and recommends measures to improve personal protection and specifically the use and availability of adequate- quality, affordable PPE.
