The present study is conducted with a view to analyze growth and trend in Area, Production, Productivity and trade of sugarcane producing in India. A time series data from 1970-1971 to 2014-2015 (45 year) of major sugarcane producing states Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra in India was used.
