Malaria is a potential medical emergency which should be treated as early as possible. It has become a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in many countries due to delay in diagnosis and treatment. Limitations of malaria diagnosis using classical methods have led to the development of several new techniques that simplify and speed up the diagnosis and increases the sensitivity.
