The cytogenetic study was conducted on total 30 breeding bucks of Osmanabadi and Boer breed (15 of each) to find out chromosomal abnormalities and to study QFQ- banding pattern of the chromosomes. Short term lymphocyte culture technique was used for the display chromosomal metaphases. The few slides were conventionally stained with 4 per cent giemsa stain and some were subjected for QFQ banding. The modal diploid chromosome number was 2n=60 for breeding bucks of Osmanabadi and Boer breed of goat. | Cytogenetic analysis of Osmanabadi and Boer breeding bucks breeds
