The present study was conducted to evaluate the genetic divergence among twenty five pigeonpea germplasm using Mahalonobis D2 statistics for seven different traits during kharif 2015. Analysis of variance depicted the significant differences among the traits which indicated the presence of variability in the germplasm. D2 clustering grouped the genotypes into ten clusters. Based on the intercluster distance () cluster VIII and X were the most diversified clusters and genotypes from these clusters can be used in the hybridization programme for further improvement. | Genetic divergence among pigeonpea genotypes using mahalonobis D2 statistics
