A total of 30 native rhizospheric microbes and 7 endophytes had been isolated and purified from rhizospheric soil samples and from roots of healthy banana plants, collected from different banana growing areas of Assam. The screening of 37 rhizospheric microbes and endophytes against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense was performed with the help of dual culture technique.
