The increase of logistics industry in Hai Phong over recent years has raised the demand for the labour force in this sector. However, there exists a gap between the training and education and practice requirement in logistics workforce. Many logistics companies are lacking qualified staffs and stay disconnected with universities. Our research aims to evaluate the employee competency of freight forwarding companies in Hai Phong recently. Based on a literature review, we make a list of key competences of logistics employees. We then carry out a survey to gather the evaluation of forwarding employers in Hai Phong.
