The field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2015 at research farm of College of Agriculture, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha to find out the effect of planting techniques on yield and yield component of two rice cultivars (Naveen and Pooja) under two dates of Sowing (27th June and 11th July) as three establishment methods (Direct seeding, unpuddled transplanting, puddled transplanting).
