The study aims to assess the pollution tolerance level of the farmers in the Noyyal river basin of Tamil Nadu. Pollution tolerance level is a cognitive behaviour, denotes the extent to which the farmers express their adjustability with regard to different pollution causing factors. The study was conducted in Tiruppur and Erode districts of Tamil Nadu. From each district one block was selected.
