Nutritional quality of maize kernel artificially infested by Sitophilus oryzae and exposed to four different CO2 concentrations viz., 20, 40, 60 and 80 per cent in modified atmosphere was studied upto six months of storage. The results revealed that exposure of kernels to 80 per cent CO2 concentration could able to maintain good per cent of carbohydrates ( per cent), total proteins ( per cent), crude fat ( per cent) and crude fibre ( per cent) upto six months of storage followed by 60 per cent CO2 concentration. | Nutritional quality of maize kernel artificially infested by sitophilus oryzae in modified atmosphere MA storage with elevated levels of CO2
