The present experiment was laid down in randomized block design in two different environments (E1 and E2) with the objective to assess the magnitude of genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance among 18 yield attributing traits in brinjal. The analysis of variance revealed that significant genetic differences were present among the brinjal genotypes representing the existence of significant amount of variability widening the greater scope for the improvement of concerned characters through selection. | Studies on variability heritability and genetic advance for yield attributing traits in Brinjal Solanum melongena L. for two different seasons
