Eight parental lines of okra and their 28 F1 hybrids obtained from half diallel were studied to identify the good general and specific combiners for yield and quality parameters. Both general a combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) variances were highly significant for all the characters indicating the importance of both additive and nonadditive gene actions. | Diallel analysis for combining ability studies in okra Abelmoschus esculentus L.
