The experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2015-16 and 2016-17 at District Seed Farm under Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal with a view to performance of rabi groundnut under polythene mulch and finally to validate the productivity enhancement through inoculation of newly isolated rhizobium.
