Pomegranate (Punica grantum L.) is a high value commercial horticultural crop grown extensively throughout Maharashtra. Among the different diseases on pomegranate Alternaria leaf and fruit spot caused by Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissler, is becoming a serious and emerging problem to growers in Maharashtra.
